AEGEAN has completed the transfer of its entire shareholding in the Romanian airline Animawings to the other shareholder and main commercial partner of Animawings, Mermento Group, which becomes a 100% shareholder.
The procedures of the velvet divorce were formally completed on … Valentine’s Day, with the relevant announcement of the Greek group, which ended with wishes to Memento Group. One of the two aircraft leased to Animawings has already returned to Aegean’s fleet, while the second one will return in a few months, to further strengthen the increased operational needs of the airline due to its expanded network.
