Anafi enters a new era as it acquires its own Airport! The project has entered the final phase of the construction of the airport runway, which will be 860 meters long and 60 meters wide, and will be completed under the supervision of Head of Greek Armed Forces.
In the historic meeting that took place on November 9 at the Ministry of National Defense, the program contract was signed between the Minister of Defense Nikos Panagiotopoulos and the Mayor Anafis Roussos Iakovos for the new airport.
The Airport is estimated to become operational by the end of 2023.
