Athens International Airport is “rolling” towards Athens Avenue. Already, a bill of the Ministry of Finance is ready for submission, concerning the listing of 30% of AIA on the Athens Stock Exchange.
The State, owner of 55% of El. Venizelos” is to dispose of the 30%, with Avi Alliance, controlled by PSP of Canada, having the right to acquire 10% at a controlled premium, making the PSP-controlled companies majority shareholders.
With the disposal of 30%, the Greek State will be left with 25%, owned by the Hellenic Treasury.
The offered 30% of AIA is expected to yield between EUR 800 million and EUR 1 billion, depending on the market situation.
