The second convocation of the EASA Management Board for 2022 took place at the headquarters of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency in Cologne, between 13 and 14 December 2022. Greece as a member of the Management Board was represented by the Commander of the Civil Aviation Authority, Dr. Christos Tsitouras, and the General Director of Aviation Activities, Mr. Konstantinos Karageorgis.
During the meeting, among other things, the planning of policies and actions for the coming years, the EPAS 2023-2027, as well as the latest developments in the fields of environmental protection and Unmanned Aircraft Systems were discussed. The Council also approved funding for the study on impact analysis, prevention and management of air traffic controller fatigue.
