Passenger traffic at Athens International Airport decreased by 4.2% in November compared to the corresponding month of 2019 – the last comparable year before the lockdowns. Last month, Athens airport handled 1.6 million passengers.
In detail, domestic passenger traffic exceeded the levels of November 2019 by 4.1%, while international passenger traffic showed a decrease of 7.7%. Overall, in the first eleven months of the year, the airport’s passenger traffic reached 21.14 million and remained down 11.7% compared to 2019. Domestic passengers remained below 2019 levels by 5.5 %, while international passengers by 14.4%.
