Old loves are never forgotten. For the commander of the Civil Aviation Service, Georgios Dritsakos, the legendary Deltawing Mirage 2000-5 fighters of the Hellenic Air Force, which he flew with when he served in the 114th Fighter Wing, is such a love. And this was amply demonstrated on the day of the celebration of the patron saint of HAF.
Mr. Dritsakos visited 114 AM and met with the Unit’s management, flying and technical personnel. Then the prescribed procedure was followed to fly one of his favorite fighters. So he was back in the cockpit of a Mirage 2000-5 and made a flight lasting about an hour.
