The clock is ticking for the concession of the 22 state regional airports as a “package”. This is what the managing director of the Superfund, Grigoris Dimitriadis, said, analyzing the 2022-2024 business plan.
Apparently, the relevant developments will not be delayed. The 22 state regional airports that the Superfund has in its portfolio will be announced as a single package. The exception is Kalamata State Airport “Captain Vassilis Konstantakopoulos”, for which it has been made clear that the international concession tender will be announced in July-August.
The 22 state regional airports, currently managed by CAA, are of the following cities: Chios, Alexandroupoli, Araxos, Karpathos, Limnos, Ioannina, Milos, Naxos, Paros, Ikaria, Kythira, Leros, Sitia, N. Aghialos, Kalymnos, Skyros, Syros, Astypalaia, Kastellorizo, Kastoria, Kasos and Kozani.
The concession period of both the 22 state regional airports and the Kalamata airport is estimated at 30-40 years.
