One more airplane, owned by Merkur Air enters the competitive EASA arena. The new aircraft will be immediately included in the Hellenic Air Carrier License (AOC).
The aircraft, which has two stretchers and state-of-the-art hospital equipment, operated -until recently- hospital flights to Sweden with the Scandinavian aviation giant Babcock. With this deal, according to information from AAA, a wider cooperation between Merkur and Babcock is launched.
The plane, which is a Learjet 35A, has the characteristic colors of the ambulance (yellow and green), which confirms the information that it will be dedicated to hospital flights.
