Merkur Air is proud to announce that the new aircraft of our fleet – Learjet 60 XR – started its journey to Athens – its future Homebase.
Prior to becoming a part of the Merkur Air family, aircraft “lived” in Nuremberg for long-term storage.
Initially, our valuable partners – Panaviatic Group – have prepared an airplane, according to Bombardier instructions, for its ferry flight to Tallinn, Estonia for maintenance and new registration acts.
So, on the 11th of January 2022, our team was proud to follow on radars our Learjet 60 XR on its way from Nuremberg to Tallinn.
These days the airplane is getting ready for airworthiness with Greek registration SX-AEK.
We are expecting to welcome Learjet 60 XR – SX-AEK in Athens, Greece on the first week of February 2022. Aircraft will be delivered to Athens with VIP & Ambulance Configuration.
In passenger configuration, it can accommodate up to 7 passengers on its almond & light tan leather seatings.
Having an impressive range of 2040 nm, based in Athens, our Learjet can reach Northern European countries and the Middle East without a fuel stop required.
