The Greek Navy was dispatched to a helicopter incident off the coast of Porto Rafti on June 23. They were summoned to assist the passenger and crew of a four-seater helicopter. The aircraft was chartered by a Saudi Arabian prince who was travelling to Greece for business and holidays. According to sources close to All About Aviation.gr, the helicopter pilot made what a precaution landing due to an overspeed of the helicopter’s engine. The Robinson 44 helicopter’s pilot successfully completed the precaution landing near the summer resort town situated in the Attica seashore. Although the Greek Navy responded, no emergency rescue procedures were necessary in the end. There were no injuries.
