Staying committed to a sustainable air transport model, Greek airline SKY express has taken delivery of one more Airbus A320 neo aircraft. The new addition brings the carrier’s Airbus fleet to nine A320 aircraft.
“The newly arrived aircraft, with low energy consumption and the most modern technical specifications, strengthens the airline’s new era when it comes to seat availability and the best service for passengers,” the airline said in a company announcement.
According to SKY express, the addition of the Airbus A320 neo is part of its ongoing investment plan as it helps the company’s capacity and the overall effort to create the right conditions for the promotion of Greece’s tourism product.
“It also proves that the country’s greenest fleet and one of Europe’s most environmentally friendly ones is in full readiness for a particularly demanding summer program that includes 12 countries, 24 foreign cities and the largest domestic network.”
With direct flights to strategic destinations, but also strong alliances with global carriers such as Air transat, Air France, KLM, Qatar Airways, American Airlines, Middle East Airlines, Cyprus Airways, easy jet and Delta, SKY express ensures that travelers can easily travel to 34 Greek destinations this summer.
