The first meeting of the EASA Management Board for 2023 took place at the EU Aviation Safety Agency’s offices in Cologne in early June. This was the last MB meeting for EASA’s Executive Director, Patrick Ky.
Greece as a member of the Management Board was represented by the Administrator of the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority, Dr. Christos Tsitouras, and the Director General of Aviation Activities, Mr. Konstantinos Karageorgis.
The most important topics, among others, discussed during the Management Board meeting were the report of the EASA Executive Director, the update on the progress of the ATCO Fatigue Study 2022 project, the report of the PAR-AG Chairman, the Consolidated Annual Activity Report 2022 (CAAR), as well as the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
The EASA Management Board brings together representatives of the Member States and the European Commission and is responsible for setting the priorities and budget, as well as monitoring the Agency’s operations.
