SKY express is on its way to welcome its second Airbus A321neo. The airline welcomed the first aircraft of this type at the end of March, following the announcement of the expanded summer schedule and, with the second A321 neo, will now have a fleet of 10 Airbus A320s and 12 ATRs.
Last year SKY express handled 3.5 million passengers and is expected to set a new record this year, considering that it will have 3.8 million seats in the summer schedule alone.
SKY express’ 2023 summer schedule
In addition to Brussels, Larnaca, London (Gatwick), Milan, Munich, Paris, Rome and Sofia, the following destinations will be added to the airline’s summer schedule this year:
Amsterdam, Amsterdam, Lille, Lyon, Marseille and Nantes, Copenhagen and Bilund in Denmark, Weeze in Germany, Kosice in Slovakia, Warsaw and the cities of Gdansk, Poznan, Katowice, Rzeszów and Wroclaw in Poland, Bucharest, Timisoara, Iasi, Targu Mureș, Cluj-Napoca, and Sibiu (Transylvania) in Romania.
In addition, SKY express is further strengthening its direct flights to the airports of Crete, the Dodecanese and the Ionian Islands, while maintaining the connection between Athens and the domestic network served by the airline throughout the year.
In total, the airline will offer 3.8 million seats in the summer season, an increase of 20% compared to last year, operating to and from 64 airports in Greece and abroad.
