Corfu Airport (CFU) will be closed by January 11 to January 24. The operation of the airport runway is suspended. According to Fraport, the airport will be closed due to reconstruction work on the runway with the installation of new carpet and underlay, with the aim of further enhancing the airport’s security level.
The runway is expected to be closed again during the period 8 to 22 February, while only air transport by ambulance helicopters will be carried out, if required, and all airport services will operate as normal for the public.
