The Russian Boeing 737 aircraft declared an emergency today while en route from the Arctic port of Murmansk to Moscow, Reuters reported, citing Russia’s Tass news agency as citing a civil aviation source.
The plane, flying at an altitude of more than 10,000 meters (33,000 feet), raised the alarm while over the Vologda region. Murmansk is about 1,500 kilometers north of Moscow.
